CAFETERIA HELPERS JOB DESCRIPTION

All students are to sign up for a week of work. Having the same crew is helpful to the cooks in training students for the job. If possible, two students are needed for each of the three shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Breakfast: Students will help with scraping trays and stacking the trays in the kitchen . Liquids can be poured into a different garbage can.

Lunch: One student will scrape trays and help students recycle paper bags, etc. and stack trays.
One student is needed to run the dishwasher, load and unload trays.

Rewards: For every lunch or breakfast worked, the student will receive a free lunch or breakfast
The cooks will give "treats" to the consistent workers at the end of the week. (Been there every day)
The students will be recognized at an assembly once a month.

Teachers' responsibility:
· Give out parent information forms
· Sign up students to work - all intermediate are expected to work
· Give cooks the list of workers' names
· Remind students to show up

Cooks' responsibility:
· Train students for the jobs
· Send reminder form to the new shift with thank you's
· Reward students for their service
· Present class certificate for helping at a monthly assembly.
· Keep a record of permission to work in the lunchroom forms
